R.A.W. Mixtapes
R.A.W. got his start in the late 1980s mixing hip-hop and electro in Los Angeles, spinning on the legendary KDAY radio station and performing in DJ battles across the city - battle-hardened experience that gave his jungle sets a turntablist edge few others in the rave scene could match. By 1992 he had pivoted to UK jungle imports and launched a weekly night called JUNGLE that became a legendary, if short-lived, Mecca for the sound in Southern California. Over the following decade he racked up over 100 vinyl releases, four European tours, and appearances alongside virtually every major name in electronic music - cementing his place as one of the most important figures the American jungle scene ever produced.
