Ken Delsol, known as Kenny Ken, was working for London Transport when he got his first break in 1989 as a regular at the early Sunday morning rave Crazy Larry's. He became resident DJ at the Crazy Club at Busby's alongside Ray Keith and Jumpin Jack Frost, and went on to become a fixture at London nights including Sunday Roast, Telepathy, World Dance, and AWOL, where he played week in and week out throughout the early-to-mid 1990s.
His first tune, "Everybody's Friend," came out of the AWOL era, and in 1994 he won the inaugural Jungle Sound Clash. He rose to prominence with "Everyman" the same year, later launching his own label, Mix & Blen', followed by Soundclash Recordings.
