Biography
Jason Cambridge, known as A-Sides, began releasing his own material in 1992, and met Ola from The Stage One Music Company at a Roller Express night, leading Ola to start distributing his records the following year. The two went on to found the label Boombastic Plastic, and in winter 1997 launched the drum and bass label East Side, which Cambridge has run ever since, alongside a second label, Fuze.
His tunes have been played regularly by Randall, Kenny Ken, Storm, and Fabio, and he built a roster of producers for East Side including Cool Hand Flex, Majistrate, and Shape Shifter. A-Sides also hosted shows on the pirate stations Unity FM and Conflict FM.
