From London, England

Conrad Thompson, known as MC Conrad, was born in Northampton and began his career as a hip-hop MC before joining the rave scene in the early 1990s, blending his Black Caribbean heritage and his father's reggae and ska record collection into his style. He formed a defining partnership with producer LTJ Bukem, becoming a central voice on Bukem's Good Looking Records, founded in 1991, and providing vocals over his and Fabio's sets during their Speed residency at London's Mars Bar starting in 1994.

He and Bukem released the 1998 album Progression Sessions 1, cementing their reputation as one of British dance music's defining DJ-MC pairs, and performed together at venues including Ministry of Sound, Coachella, and Space Ibiza, sharing stages with Carl Cox, Snoop Dogg, and Jeff Mills. He later produced under the name Con+Natural and founded the label Resonance in 2020.

MC Conrad died on April 30, 2024, at age 52.
