Biography
Marvin Cain, known as Marvellous Cain, grew up in Basingstoke, England, and began DJing as part of the Katmandu sound system, later holding residencies for Yikes and In-Ter-Dance. He had a run of major tracks during jungle's ragga heyday of 1993-94, including "The Hitman" and "Dub Plate Style," and before signing to Suburban Base in 1995, released on his friend Sponge's label I.Q. Recordings, collaborating with Sponge and future Ganja Kru member Pascal.
During the early to mid-90s he also ran Sight Sound Motion Records in Basingstoke with his cousin Byron Lewis and friend Lyndsey, and owned or co-owned the labels Runninz Records and Miditraks.
