From Dallas, Texas

Luke Sardello started DJing in 1988 in Dallas, introduced to house and techno by a junior high friend who worked at the legendary Bill's Records and Tapes. He went on to work at Bill's himself and spent decades as a vinyl DJ, amassing an estimated 50,000-record personal collection while also collecting local and regional rap CDs.

In 2014 he co-founded Josey Records with fellow DJ Waric Cameron, which grew into one of the largest independent record stores in the country, eventually acquiring the remaining stock of Bill's Records after its founder, Bill Wisener, died in 2020. Sardello also co-owns the label Eastwood Music Group with Jeff "Skin" Wade, and has founded several other labels and businesses, including Doghouse Records, Icon Recordings, and Tuned In Grading.
