Josh

Josh Ezelle, known as DJ Josh, has played a broad range of genres, from disco dubs and garage to deep house, hard percussive tech house, roots dub, hip hop, and Afro-Latin sounds since 1986, and played an integral role in founding San Francisco's house music and rave cultures as a DJ, bassist, producer, promoter, and music specialist.

From 1987 onward he became a regular at legendary SF parties including Five Foot Tongue, Do Not Sit, ToonTown, Mr. Floppy's, Das Club at 1015 Folsom, and Club DV8, playing early Detroit techno and acid house, and throughout the 1990s was involved with Sound Factory SF, Funky Techno Tribe/Organic, Ruby Skye, and a residency at The Gathering/Basics.
