Biography
Eli Star started DJing in 1984 and moved into Los Angeles' underground electronic dance scene in 1990. He held a residency at Magic Wednesdays, the weekly at The World on Hollywood Boulevard whose 1996 bookings included Doc Martin, Christopher Lawrence and Sven Väth. In 1997 he founded ZxP Sound, a production company whose techno compositions have gone on to appear in film trailers, television commercials, and radio spots, and released a mix CD called Sampling The Future on Thrive the following year. He recorded as part of the duo Splat 'N' Star with Jason Splat.
