DJ Psycho-Bitch

Valerie Scheinpflug, known as DJ Psycho-Bitch or DJ Psycho-B, has been a fixture of Chicago house music since the 1980s. She got her name from fellow DJ Teri Bristol, and the two later held a legendary Saturday night residency together at Crobar starting in July 1999, alongside stints at the club Cairo.

Regarded as one of Chicago's supreme house DJs, Psycho-Bitch is counted among the city's pioneering women DJs, alongside Lori Branch and DJ Val, whose example paved the way for later collectives like Superjane.
